عَنْ اَبِي هَاشِمٍ الْجَعْفَرِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الرِّضَاؑ يَقُولُ الْاَئِمَّةُ عُلَمَاءُ حُلَمَاءُ صَادِقُونَ مُفَهَّمُونَ مُحَدَّثُونَ

Abu Haashim al-Ja’fari (r.a.) reports, “I heard Imam al-Reza (peace be upon him) say,

‘The Imams are knowledgeable, forbearing, truthful, made to understand (by Allah) and spoken to (by the angels).’”

Note

This explanation highlights the qualities of the Imams.
