Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) wept for Imam Husain (peace be upon him) his entire life

بَكَى عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ عَلَى اَبِيهِ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ص …..‏ اِنِّي لَمْ اَذْكُرْ مَصْرَعَ‏ بَنِي‏ فَاطِمَةَ اِلَّا خَنَقَتْنِي الْعَبْرَةُ لِذَلِكَ.

Imam Ali Ibn al-Husain (peace be upon him) said,

“Verily, I don’t remember the martyrdom of the sons of Fatemah (peace be upon her) but that tears choke me.”

Note

This statement reflects the deep sorrow and emotional connection to the tragedy of the family of the Prophet.
